The church will be transformed into our VBS theme, Breaker Rock Beach, where campers discover life with God is a surprising adventure.

Music, missions, crafts, recreation, and memorable Bible stories help kids know they can trust God to be with them through anything. Even snack time reinforces the theme each day.

We Serve Weekend

We Serve Weekend

Join us on Saturday or Sunday for a time to SERVE!! Beginning at 8:30 am on Saturday... Coffee, Cleaning and Community!! You may select an assignment from the "Job List" or come with your own project to do to "Clean Up God's House"; complete it and leave or stay. At 10:00 am we will assemble "Blessing Bags" to have handy in your car to give to unhoused community. Sunday will require MANY hands as we provide food and "services" during the St. Paddy's Parade.

St. Paddy's Parade Mission Fundraiser from 10:30 am until 4:30 pm (indicate times you are available). Duties do not require standing. You will be able to sit.

Saturday, March 16th

Sanctuary/Church-wide clean up beginning at 8:30 am. Make Blessing Bags for the homeless 10 am - 12:00 pm Fellowship Hall

Sunday, March 17th

Saint Patty Day mission fundraiser 10:30 am - 4:30 pm (list times you can help)

Sell “Potty Passes”, Monitor The Door/ Hallways, Re-stock/Refresh Restrooms, Clean restrooms,

Help is especially needed at the end of the day!

JOY Ministry Luncheon

Calling all JOY Friends!!

We are restarting our fun-filled time together with an exciting program led by Tulane Professor of History, Derek Wood. He will provide a wonderful and entertaining talk on the history of JAZZ in New Orleans.

Join us for a catered Lunch ($15), Speaker and Fellowship.

Disciples' Garage Sale

Munholland's Disciple Sunday School Class is again holding a garage/yard sale as a fund raiser, and you too can raise some funds! The sale will be held in the church parking lot, and we are selling spaces (parking space sized) for $20 to other classes, groups, committees, and families who would like to participate and raise some funds of their own. We will run an ad in the paper, and make signs. Donations can be placed in the Copy/Collections room/Old Welcome Center beginning February 4th through March 1st.

If you do not sell everything, you can take it home OR we have a charity organization come and pick up the left over items at the end of the day.

We will try to avoid early-birds, and folks setting up must get their vehicles in and out before 7:45 AM.

Julianne Korn's Farewell Reception

Julianne Korn, our fantastic soprano is stepping down after 16 years of service to Munholland. July 30th is her last Sunday and we will have a reception starting at 10:15 am in the fellowship hall that Sunday. A love offering is being taken up for her, put Julianne in the memo line or give online as well.

It's that time of year! Let's get in shape and walk to end the water crisis while helping women and girls lift themselves out of poverty into the life they are called to.
